MER — therapeutic bodywork and fascial release

What the practice includes

Deep tissue massage and supported stretches

Cranio-sacral therapy

Somatic work and emotional processing

Energetic touch and joint mobilization

Body and energy observation for trauma healing

The body opens on its own terms

In MER and bodywork, safety grows from listening, consent, and never forcing the body to release. Touch, breath, and fascial work always remain within the client's boundaries. The body's responses are followed moment by moment, and the work can be softened or stopped at any time.

One of the most beautiful and profound bodywork sessions of my life. Merja's hands read the body with stunning sensitivity — soft and powerful at the same time, finding exactly the right triggers, holding exactly the right depth. True MER work: deep fascial release, conscious breath, meditative presence, and an unspoken dialogue with the tissue that lets the body open on its own terms. A gifted therapist. Thank you, Merja.

It has been a long time since my body has felt so open and aligned as after the treatment. Sometimes the feeling has been truly miraculous.
